23 Factorial Design: An Approach For Formulation of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles of Etravirine for Oral Administration

Etravirine is an antiviral belonging to biopharmaceutics classification system class IV due low aqueous solubility and poor permeability. In this study, augment the dissolution profile of etravirine, solid lipid nanoparticles have been formulated by utilizing mixture Compritol® 888 ATO Gelucire® 50/13 as lipids poloxamer 188 surfactant hot homogenization technique. Effect variables, ratio lipids, concentration sonication time on responses like: Percentage yield, percentage encapsulation efficiency drug release were studied at 2 different levels statistically analyzed using 23 full factorial statistical design. The effect factors was well explained a significant linear model. optimized preparation evaluated for zeta potential, size particle polydispersity index. displayed potential 36.2 mV, 178 nm index value 0.075 indicating nano sized monodispersed. absence interaction with excipients confirmed differential scanning calorimetry X-ray powder diffractometer. vitro formulation found be 43.68 % in comparison pure (19.99 %) kinetics optimum first-order kinetics. Based promising results it can concluded that etravirine based validated design, which may delivery management human immunodeficiency virus infection.
